Job Summary

The Marketing Planning Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end (E2E) planning across the Corporate Marketing organization, integrating financial, operational, and strategic deliverables into a cohesive operating rhythm. This role ensures clarity, alignment, and execution excellence by owning planning processes, calendars, interlocks, and standard templates, while enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and executive decision-making.

Additionally, the role contributes to innovative ideas, lead cross-functional teams, and serves as a functional lead, providing mentorship to lower-level employees.

Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end planning processes for Marketing, spanning financial, operational, and strategic planning cycles (LTP, Budget, Flash, O&O)

• Own and drive the Marketing planning calendar, governance model, interlocks, and standardized templates

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Strategy, Sales, Operations, and Leadership) to ensure alignment and execution

• Manage complex operational rhythms, including annual planning, quarterly reviews, and in-year adjustments

• Develop and maintain financial models and analytical frameworks to support data-driven decisions

• Synthesize complex inputs into clear, concise, and executive-ready narratives and storytelling

• Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail across all planning deliverables

• Continuously improve planning processes to increase efficiency, clarity, and organizational impact

• Lead engagement with L2 Leader to maintain awareness of marketing business updates

• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Planning, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications
• Analytics Certification

• Strong planning, coordination, and program management expertise

• Proven ability to partner effectively across functions and influence without direct authority

• Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis

• Experience managing complex, multi-threaded operational cadences

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive audiences

• High attention to detail with the ability to balance precision and speed

• Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
