The Business Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing projects for Cash Logistics branches and clients, with a focus on achieving plan targets through effective operations and customer relationship management, and on implementing operational efficiencies. Results will be achieved by establishing a trusted and meaningful partnership between our organization and our clients. As the Business Solutions Manager, Cash Logistics, you will work closely with the Director, Cash Logistics, and team members to execute strategic, account-based business plans focused on our key areas of growth. The posting is for an existing vacancy. Salary range: $84,000 - $103,000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Full responsibility for all cash logistics projects, including coordinating with various branch operators, sales, and other departments to successfully complete all implementations
- Responsible for process improvement initiatives and branch adoption
- Ensure efficient and on-time planning of all projects, ensuring all operational and financial goals are met
- Report and escalate as needed regarding status, risks, roadblocks and mitigations of projects
- Proactively anticipate problems. Act as the escalation point, working with stakeholders and partners to mitigate issues before our clients or branches are impacted and escalate as needed.
- Monitor the overall performance of on-site team members to ensure compliance with policies and practices
- Identifies strategies and key performance goals, acts as an advisor to internal and external stakeholders; works to overcome challenges and barriers and minimize risk
- Builds the capabilities of the team to enhance operational ability to achieve the financial and operating strategy; hires appropriately, leverages the talents of the function, and takes corrective action where necessary
Client Support
- Maintain communications between the client and Brink’s for the purposes of project tasks and updates
- Resolve roadblocks and risks on milestones/budgets, all while ensuring the satisfaction of the client
- Evaluate the impact of customer requests and move directly to resolution with operations teams
- Working closely with the Director, Cash Logistics, contributes to and executes strategic plans pertaining to the growth of Cash Logistics
Planning
- Create detailed project plans
- Manage record keeping, dashboards and reporting of the project status
- Manage Third Party Affiliates: Negotiate pricing with the involvement of procurement, set up services. Relationship management with third parties to ensure requirements with tight timelines are met.
- Forward planning of creative solutions for growing Cash Logistics. Initiate workshops and conduct assessments working with project stakeholders at all working levels
- Conduct project risk evaluations and project management processes, including start-up planning activities
- Initiate and implement the project plan(s), collaborating with project stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, and project governance
- Ensure risks are documented and adequately managed by developing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Manage projects and project teams, leveraging expert resources from the rest of the company
- Monitor and report overall project health, escalating issues when needed
- Coordinate activities across a broad spectrum of disciplines such as IT, Operations, BNCS, Security, Finance & HR
- Steer the project(s) to meet client expectations and project objectives

Analytics
- Weekly KPI review with internal stakeholders & client’s stakeholders
- Weekly Operations Overview: with CL branch management
- Monthly Review: BPWH/DPWH, forecasts, KPI’s and additional discussions re: growth/future changes; presented to internal and client stakeholders
- Quarterly Executive Alignment: Review the state of the business/financials and performance
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Cash Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, or logistics management preferred.
- Ability to manage strategic customer relationships at a mid-to-senior level
- Experience in the credit union and financial institution processing and reconciliation
- Highly developed leadership skills, including selection, coaching and counselling team members, evaluating performance, team building, and administration and operational planning, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Superior analytical skills, extensive experience working with and presenting data to various audiences
- Ability to work under extreme pressure and deadlines
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, MS Project and Smartsheet
- Travel will be required based upon the scope of service coverage and customer requirements
