About the role:
This is a fixed-term contract position (renewable) under AvePoint as your employer. The role will be client‑facing, working directly with one of AvePoint’s clients. It follows a hybrid work setup, requiring on‑site presence at the client’s office from Monday to Friday.
The Marketing Operations Support will assist primarily in the distribution and maintenance of multiple newsletters managed by the Department of Communications and Knowledge Management (DOCK), as well as perform data-related tasks for the Marketing team. The objective of this assignment is to provide administrative, data, and platform support for the delivery of selected newsletters, under the direction of our partner's staff (Email Marketing Focal), who retains responsibility for email marketing strategy, content direction, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
What will you be doing?
A. Subscriber Database and List Management
- Support periodic list hygiene on MailUp and MailChimp, including removal of hard bounces, management of soft bounces, and inactive subscribers
- Apply tags and segments as instructed
- Assist with imports, exports, and basic audits
- Flag data issues for review by the ADB staff
B. Email Platform Operations Support
- Provide routine platform support using existing templates
- Conduct test sends and pre-dispatch checks as requested
- Troubleshoot basic formatting or tracking issues and escalate complex issues
C. Analytics and Reporting
- Extract standard email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and unsubscribe rates
- Compile monthly analytics reports using agreed templates and reporting periods
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across newsletters and platforms
D. Tracking and Data Support (execution only)
- Apply tracking or UTM links prepared or approved by the ADB staff
- Maintain basic records of for internal reference
E. Any other marketing-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Expected Output
- Cleaned and maintained subscriber lists on email marketing platforms
- Monthly analytics reports for each newsletter
- Updated UTM tracking links and basic send records
- Ad hoc data exports or list support, as requested

- Strong comfort working with subscriber databases and email metrics
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailup, Mailchimp)
- High attention to detail, especially with lists, links, and numbers
- Ability to follow structured processes and templates consistently
- Proficient in Excel for reporting
- Able to manage repetitive, deadline-driven tasks reliably
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Experience supporting newsletters in large organizations or institutions
- Basic HTML awareness (reading/editing, not writing from scratch)
- Experience handling multiple newsletters or large mailing lists
- Familiarity with Google Analytics dashboard
- Familiarity with graphic design tools
