Collibra

Senior Manager, People Solutions

Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Full Time

Joining Collibra’s People Technology, Analytics, & Operations team

Collibra is at a technological inflection point, moving beyond traditional SaaS administration toward a future where AI-driven automation is the backbone of our People Strategy. As the Senior Manager of People Technology, you will be the architect of an AI-First People Technology ecosystem—one that determines not just how we use our current stack, but how we evolve it. You will lead a global team in building a roadmap that integrates intelligent automation into our workflows, ensuring our technology strategy directly drives Collibra's business objectives.

We look for leaders who challenge the status quo, prioritize ethical AI implementation, and operate as strategic consultants to the business.

This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

Senior Manager, People Technology & Strategy at Collibra is responsible for

  • AI-First Strategy: Designing and orchestrating a forward-looking technology roadmap with AI at its center, including leading rigorous build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Strategic Advisory: Acting as a lead consultant to People & Places leadership by translating HR technology initiatives into clear business value and executive-ready messaging.
  • Automation Architecture: Systematically eliminating manual work through AI and Workato iPaaS integrations across Talent Acquisition, Finance/Payroll, and IT.
  • Ecosystem Management: Overseeing the administration, security, and data integrity of Workday, Greenhouse, and Peakon to ensure they feed high-quality data into our systems of intelligence.
  • Team & Vendor Leadership: Managing a team of two (with growth potential), leading vendor QBRs, and owning the end-to-end lifecycle of system updates and change management.

You have

  • 8+ years of experience in People Technology, with a strong preference for Workday and Greenhouse ATS.
  • 4+ years in a management or team lead capacity, with a proven track record of developing people and managing resources dynamically.
  • Proven expertise in automation and AI tools, specifically with Workato iPaaS and LLMs like Claude, Gemini, or NotebookLM.
  • Strong experience in strategic roadmapping and the ability to present complex technical concepts to senior executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in benchmarking systems and managing vendor relations/contract renewals.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

You are

  • An AI-Native Leader: You don't use AI as a feature; you use it as a foundation to solve workflow problems and challenge manual assumptions.
  • A Strategic Architect: You think like a Product Manager and view systems as a lever for competitive advantage, not just a database.
  • A High-Level Communicator: You are comfortable translating technical roadmaps into business value with clarity and confidence.
  • An Agile Leader: You thrive in fast-paced environments, coaching your team to lead conversations and act as trusted advisors.
  • An Orchestrator: You bring structure to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders and keeping complex, high-priority projects moving forward.

Measures of success

  • Within your first month, you will immerse yourself in Collibra’s current People tech stack (Workday, Greenhouse, Workato), establish relationships with your direct reports, and audit existing manual workflows.
  • Within your third month, you will deliver a draft of the AI-First People Technology roadmap and identify the first three high-impact automation opportunities to eliminate tactical work.
  • Within your sixth month, you will have executed the initial phases of the AI roadmap, demonstrated measurable efficiency gains through Workato integrations, and built a business case for future team capacity expansion.
