Marketing Manager, International Consumer Marketing (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager, International Consumer Marketing position is responsible for developing & implementing regional marketing programmes to drive lead conversion & customer retention, across the markets in the International Region (all markets excluding USA). The key objective of the role is to implement the short and long-term strategy to grow Omnipod’s customer base through generating consistent double digit growth (year on year) of new customers starting on Omnipod (New Customer Starts - NCS) & minimizing user attrition.

The role will also be expected to work coherently with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, driving collaboration to take opportunities as they present. This position will work closely with the Global Marketing teams, International Digital Marketing Manager, International Community Manager, International HCP marketing team, Country Marketing & Inside Sales Teams, Customer Care, Legal, Medical, Regulatory & agency partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with internal partners in the formulation of coherent marketing strategies and annual marketing plans.
  • Builds knowledge & generates insights of key consumer groups to leverage for the development of high performing marketing programmes. Communicates these insights internally with key stakeholders to drive alignment & focus.
  • Works with internal partners & external agencies to develop highly engaging content/creative which helps nurture leads to increase the likelihood & speed of them starting on Omnipod.
  • Works with internal partners & external agencies to develop marketing programmes (incl. communication & education) which help customers optimize their experience using Omnipod, and increasing their loyalty to the franchise.
  • Works with internal partners to measure the performance of marketing programmes & drive insights/learnings to optimize activity.
  • Represent the International region with global partners, collaborating to ensure global strategies & tools deliver against the needs of the markets.
  • Provides strong support for the markets in the International region by:

    Championing market needs & ensuring plans are in place to meet them.

    Supporting the implementation of regional/global campaigns.

    Identifying & scaling best practices across the region.

  • Efficient management of marketing budget to ensure spend & return on investment is maximized.

  • Ability to develop business case for new programs, including demonstrating potential ROI
  • Strong prioritization skills – able to focus effort & budget on areas which generate the biggest impact on the business

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required (with a concentration in Marketing preferred).
  • Comprehensive relevant experience in a consumer marketing-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing campaigns to drive consumer awareness & lead generation.
  • Demonstrated experience of identifying & leveraging insights to drive engaging communications.
  • Demonstrated experience working within regional or global preferred.
  • Prior experience of working within the Diabetes industry preferred.
  • Prior experience of developing communications within a regulated environment (eg. Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Consumer Healthcare) preferred.

Travel:

This is a regional role, across multiple geographies, so periodic travel will be required – this will be to attend meetings in key markets, attend trade shows/conferences, join sales teams on HCP calls or attend research.
