Does this sound like you?
You are an innovative, commercially driven marketing leader who will formulate and execute marketing campaigns for Gartner Conferences, driving conference attendee revenue. In this role, you will create and execute complex marketing and digital campaigns that result in paid self-service registrations or qualified sales leads that convert to paid registrations. Your ability to understand business roles and use this knowledge to develop engaging, value-based messaging and multi-channel marketing approaches is essential. You will collaborate closely with conference program management, the conference marketing portfolio lead, and client-facing sales and service delivery associates to achieve or exceed conference registration volume and revenue goals for assigned events.
What you will do:
Develop deep product and agenda expertise: Work with product business and technology insights and conference program management to understand product offerings and conference agendas, positioning and communicating the value proposition of Gartner and the conference to potential attendees.
Drive segmentation and differentiation: Develop segmentation strategies, competitive differentiation, targeted marketing, and market opportunity assessments.
Craft compelling messaging: Create value-based product and conference messaging, positioning, and storylines for conference promotion (existing and new launches) across email, collateral, video, web, SEM, and other channels.
Leverage client and attendee insights: Drive and use external client and conference attendee survey data from Customer Insights to inform campaign strategy and launches.
Optimize channel mix: Use the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence and analytics tools to identify the best channel mix and drive optimal ROI on campaign spend.
Align campaigns to the buyer journey: Define and execute campaigns aligned with the buyer journey—from awareness to lead acquisition to registration—leveraging retargeting to maximize engagement.
Empower sales teams: Improve sales teams’ ability to authentically engage with segments through easy-to-absorb prospect conversation scripting and conference materials, maintaining a central repository for sales support tools.
Promote program-specific opportunities: Cultivate and execute program-specific promotional opportunities (conferences, co-branding partnerships, etc.) that generate leads and build sales pipelines.
Monitor and optimize campaigns: Execute all campaign elements, continually review performance metrics, identify innovative ways to drive demand, and revise campaigns accordingly.
Report and collaborate: Actively monitor demand conversion and registrations, identify challenges and solutions, and report results to stakeholders.
Influence cross-functional teams: Interact with various functional groups, develop and present marketing plans, and influence thinking and approach to conference messaging and promotion.
What you will need:
Metrics-driven mindset: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in outbound/digital marketing with direct responsibility for delivering revenue through marketing and sales channels.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Exceptional project management skills.
