Job Description
The Marketing Lead will focus on marketing our loyalty programme (Old Mutual Rewards), promoting financial wellness tools, and driving digital adoption across the Goals, Rewards, and Digital Channels portfolios.
This role requires a commercially minded individual who can shift the business and marketing function towards outcomes and value delivery, ensuring campaigns demonstrate appropriate Return on Investment (ROI).
The individual will manage a team comprising 2 Marketing SMEs, a Graphic Designer, a Content Writer, and a Campaign Specialist and will report to the Executive: CX, Marketing and Operations.
Collaboration with Group Marketing and external agencies is critical to ensure integrated and high-quality delivery. The individual will also coordinate efforts between the Life & Savings business and OM Bank for shared campaigns, while managing budgets and applying best practice in customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns focused on loyalty, financial wellness, and digital adoption.
- Drive commercially focused outcomes ensuring campaigns deliver measurable ROI.
- Manage and lead a team of 2 Marketing SMEs, Graphic Designer, Content Writer, and Campaign Specialist.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively and report on financial performance.
- Lead creative development and oversee quality of marketing collateral across channels.
- Apply best practice in customer engagement to enhance adviser and customer experience.
- Coordinate integrated campaigns across Life & Savings and OM Bank business units and stand-alone campaigns were required.
- Collaborate extensively with Group Marketing and external agencies to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Utilise data-driven insights for personalised messaging and campaign optimisation.
- Measure and report on campaign performance, ROI, and KPIs; adjust strategies as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant marketing experience, including loyalty programme marketing and digital campaigns.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver commercially viable outcomes.
- Experience managing a multidisciplinary marketing team.
- Experience with loyalty programmes and digital adoption strategies.
- Strong project and team management skills; Agile experience preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to integrate across business units and agencies.
- Creative thinker with ability to deliver impactful campaigns under tight timelines.
- Financial services experience an advantage.

- On-time delivery of marketing campaigns and collateral.
- Achievement of engagement, loyalty adoption, and acquisition targets.
- Demonstrated ROI and value delivery for all campaigns.
- Successful integration of marketing efforts across Life & Savings and OM Bank.
