Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Compensation: $78,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year (Dependent on Experience)

Tessera is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner to join our manufacturing team in Auburn, Washington. The Manufacturing Planner works to create accurate production process plans from customer supplied purchase orders, specifications, engineering and any other customer supplied documentation. The Planner coordinates with all departments within the company to ensure accurate and detailed planning is provided prior to being released to the manufacturing floor.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Utilize Tessera’s manufacturing ERP system to create manufacturing planning to support customer requirements.
Develop manufacturing plans with detailed sequences of operations for most efficient method of fabrication
Maintain engineering drawings and ensure they comply to customer requirements.
Responsible for scheduling and providing key information at meetings for new part implementation
Work with Manufacturing and Customer to convey areas of concern in the manufacturing process or issues with customer-provided engineering.
Provides assistance with Manufacturing and Programming in determining methods and specifications to be used for manufacturing processes.
Works with Quality Management team to ensure all planning is accurate prior to release.
Identify that all documentation and engineering pertaining to programming and manufacturing of parts is available or sourced after contract award.
Incorporate Risk Management to ensure identification of at-risk parts.
Maintains accurate scheduling for parts that have not yet been entered into ERP system.
Reviews drawings/models and other customer documents to develop and prepare workflow plans.
Use modeling software to interrogate customer models; understands Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Identify complex problems and develop ideas to implement solutions.
Solicit technical advice as required from resources within the company to assist in determining a manufacturing process.
Ability to effectively communicate with personnel in varying roles; in person, via telephone and email.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain planning models and associated records; assists in document control flow.
Understand and follow all ISO:9001/AS9100 policies, procedures, and instructions that are applicable.
Must be able to interact with all levels of management, internal departments, employees, regulatory agencies, consultants, and companies.
Requires the ability to convey and work with confidential information and respond to customers in regard to manufacturing concerns or issues.
Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree is preferred.
5 – 8 years of previous experience working in Manufacturing with knowledge of buying and ordering procedures, production planning, material requirements planning, inventory control, and ERP system scheduling is preferred.
Combination of previous experience and education will be considered.
Previous experience with CAD software is preferred.
Familiarity with AS9100 processes and procedures.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
