Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Identify inspection features associated with rental tooling updating and creating ITPs in the process where required.
Provide Survey dispositions on completion of inspection to facilitate refurbishment.
Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop in order to execute projects effectively and deliver to our customer.
Monitoring manufacturing cycle times and propose improvements and action plans.
Defining the correct test equipment to carry out work scopes and work closely with the tooling team to get these tools into maintenance.
Leading by example to achieve highest HSE and Quality performance.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align and support execution of deliverables while sharing lessons learned.
Working closely with the shop floor to define and improve manufacturing tasks, such as lifting operations, testing, assembly / dis-assembly methods.
Required Qualifications
Have proven experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably aftermarket and repair solutions)
Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders / customers.
Have excellent written, reporting and communication skills.
Shop Floor experience or understanding of shopfloor activities such as general assembly / dis-assembly and pressure testing large assemblies / schematics.
Have product knowledge on Subsea Rental Tooling.
Desired Characteristics
Subsea XTs, Subsea Wellhead, Subsea Aftermarket and CWOR Equipment is advantageous but not essential.
