Your role at Baxter

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping of medical equipment and supplies. This role ensures safety, compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency while supporting production and business needs.

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, oversee replenishment, and partner with Purchasing and Logistics to prevent shortages.

  • Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, FDA, and Baxter quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff; ensure proper certification for equipment use.

  • Manage warehouse budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

  • Maintain organized, audit‑ready warehouse conditions aligned with 6S standards.

  • Operate and oversee use of PIT equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, man lifts) as needed.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Logistics, Quality, HR, Finance, and other partners.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a medical device or regulated environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with WMS, ERP, and warehouse technology systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Certifications

  • PIT Operator License (OSHA 1910.178).

  • Certified PIT Trainer (“Train the Trainer”).

  • Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred.

  • Completion of warehouse management or industry‑specific training programs (e.g., CWM, MDWMA).

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; use of mechanical aids or team lifting required for heavier items.

  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to climb ladders/step stools and work in temperature‑controlled or cleanroom environments.

  • Use of PPE required (gloves, safety shoes, glasses, safety vest).

Work Environment

  • Dynamic warehouse environment with designated receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping areas.

  • Use of racking systems, pallet storage, handheld devices, and WMS technology.

  • May require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, or overtime.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $ $96,000-$132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
