SUMMARY:
This position supports the strategic and operational leadership of ElderONE’s transportation services. The role manages day-to-day transportation operations, oversees vendor performance, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supports long-term planning initiatives. This is a key role in ensuring reliable, safe, and participant-centered transportation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, vendor coordination, compliance, safety protocols, and issue resolution.
Monitor vendor performance and KPIs, maintain documentation and reports, and escalate concerns or incidents to senior leadership as needed.
Supervise and support internal staff and vendor personnel through training, onboarding, performance feedback, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Collaborate with leadership on long-term planning, audits, technology upgrades, and cross-functional projects to enhance service delivery and participant satisfaction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree or 3 years of verifiable experience in transportation or logistics
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC physical)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in transportation or logistics within healthcare or senior services
Experience working with a frail and elderly adult population, preferably in a nursing home, adult day care, home care or PACE setting
Strong knowledge of transportation compliance standards, DOT/CDL regulations, and healthcare transportation standards
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with third-party vendors and managing service delivery
Experience with trip scheduling software

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
