[What the role is]

Join us at IRAS and be part of Singapore’s transformation of GST administration through e-invoicing. As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a key role in policy formulation and implementation and stakeholder engagement for the GST InvoiceNow Requirement.

At IRAS, you will have the opportunity to apply your tax and digital knowledge in a diverse range of tax administration fields, and play a vital role in shaping the future of tax administration.

[What you will be working on]

As part of the GST InvoiceNow (GIN) team, you will be involved in the following key areas:

  • Develop and implement GST InvoiceNow policies.
  • Work with Whole of Government partners to ensure ecosystem readiness and smooth implementation of e-invoicing.
  • Handle industry and stakeholder queries on the GST InvoiceNow Requirement.
  • Participate in engagements with key industry stakeholders and international counterparts on e-invoicing.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance taxpayer compliance and operational effectiveness.

[What we are looking for]

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, tax administration, e-invoicing or regulatory policy implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a structured and systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • A curious mindset with the ability to question, probe, and improve existing policies and processes.
