Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team on a 6‑month contract, with a view to extension. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is based in Melbourne.

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning month‑end accounting, trial balances and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handling complex accounting matters such as revenue, tax, cashflows, acquisitions, share‑based payments and other non‑routine transactions
• Preparing and maintaining accounting papers, calculations and disclosures
• Playing a key role in internal and external audits
• Supporting consolidations, cashflows and statutory reporting
• Driving process improvements, documentation and automation

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant with solid hands‑on accounting experience
• Strong experience in cashflows, consolidations and complex accounting
• Comfortable working with financial systems and data
• Collaborative, adaptable and enjoys mentoring others
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
