About the role
The Manager, Non‑Production Environments is accountable for the stability, availability, and operational effectiveness of centralised non‑production environments across Customer Market Technology. This role ensures environments, tooling, and test data are reliable, fit‑for‑purpose, and enable high‑quality, high‑velocity delivery. A key focus is eliminating environment‑related delays, improving deployment success, and introducing automation and self‑service capabilities to reduce friction for engineering and delivery teams, while evolving the landscape to support future platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Owning the stability, availability, and currency of non‑production environments eg. SIT, Training, Pre-prod)
Ensuring environments consistently support testing, release, and deployment activities
Reducing environment‑related delays, blockers, and failed deployments
Driving automation of environment provisioning, refresh, and deployment processes
Owning test data strategy, governance, masking, and refresh processes
Governing environment risk, security, compliance, and operational standards
Preparing the environment landscape to support future platforms and delivery scale
What you’ll bring
Proven experience leading environment management, DevOps, or platform teams in complex enterprises
Strong understanding of CI/CD, environment lifecycle management, and test data practices
Demonstrated success improving efficiency through automation and standardisation
Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Kaluza, and integrations
Strong vendor management capability, with experience holding partners accountable
Ability to influence engineering, delivery, partners, and business stakeholders
