Your New Role:
Does this describe you: You are a dynamic and experienced M&A Manager with strong technology expertise. You have a unique mix of broad technology understanding, business functional competencies, operational acumen, strategic mindset and M&A experience. You can roll up sleeves, take ownership, drive alignment, enable implementation of strategic initiatives and are an excellent communicator.
You are comfortable with large enterprise technology footprint across applications, infrastructure, security, operating model, data management and more. You have demonstrated success across multiple technology M&A due diligence, TSA, planning, readiness and more. You are apt at common program management toolsets and comfortable with leading technology toolsets.
You have a demonstrated record of success in navigating ambiguity, having driven strategic priorities with a high level of independence. Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities, yet operate at ease. Comfortable working with and presenting to executive stakeholders. Strong partnership mentality with exceptional ability to cultivate a trusted relationship with global partners and managing a team. If so, then this role is perfect for you.
The Technology M&A Manager is a member of the Technology & Operations (T&O) Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy (EAS) organization. This position will report directly into the Senior Director, Tech M&A Integration
Your Role Accountabilities:
Strategy & Analytics
Deliver complex financial analysis that sheds insight into different operational scenarios/ risk trade-off
Digest complex architectural diagrams to help surface interdepended and operational considerations into planning activities
Identify, screen and evaluate new solution opportunities in the M&A domain to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs
Develop deep and trust relationships with key partners and use the knowledge of their business processes and requirements to drive technology strategy work prioritization
Conduct Acquisition and Divestiture IT due diligence with a focus on identifying risks and value creation opportunities in one or more of assigned areas: Business Systems, Media Systems, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Budgetary analysis, and IT Processes.
Identify gaps and risks associated with tech enablement / technical debt and develop remediation and mitigation recommendations.
Facilitate cross-functional Day 1 / Day 100 planning with tech and business stakeholders to understand their needs and dependencies for the aligned roadmap.
Support technical and business stakeholders to develop technology investment business case.
Operations
Provide IT integration and separation / TSA (Transition Service Agreement) execution oversight to assigned programs.
Support business case update due to scope, schedule, resource, and financial changes.
Assist in creation of M&A execution status summary reporting.
As capacity permits, support strategy execution projects in the area of innovation and transformation, e.g., provide solution architecture to streamline, globalize, standardize, optimize and modernize technology and operations capabilities
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, finance, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum of 6 years of technology diligence, TSA, post-merger technology integration, joint venture, and/or carve-out experience
Minimum of 6 years of technical experience in technology programs across 3 or more disciplines:
Business Systems (e.g., ERP, CRM)
Media Systems (e.g., MAM, Playout)
Infrastructure (e.g., network, cloud compute)
Cybersecurity
Data management and analytics
Minimum 3 years of experience in Technology assessment and strategy development, or Technology performance improvement and cost reduction
Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration Management Office (IMO), Separation Management Office (SMO) or IT PMO
Strong financial analytics capabilities.
Familiar with advance technology such as AI (preferred)
Local candidates to the Atlanta market will have review priority
Must have legal right to work in the United States permanently (with sponsorship now nor in the future).
Must have experience working with both domestic and international teams and stakeholders.
Not Required but preferred experience:
MBA
Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries
Management consulting experience
Knowledge on process mapping tool (e.g., Miro), project management tool (e.g., Atlassian, Asana), visualization tool (e.g., Power BI), and enterprise architecture tool (e.g., LeanIX)
