Meaningful Work From Day One:

Manager, IT Business Partner & Process Transformation - Finance  is responsible for leading the hands-on execution of process transformation projects and automating Accounting and Finance processes. The Manager will develop and optimize established automation and process improvement initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Director, IT Business Partner & Process Transformation, and other key stakeholders across the globe, to reengineer processes utilizing a comprehensive range of automation and analytical toolkits. This position will also independently drive IT implementations related to Accounting and Finance, and develop and perform advanced Accounting analytics using modern technology applications to ensure accuracy and provide insightful explanations of results.

What You Can Expect:

Business Partnering

  • Actively collaborate with Global Accounting, Production Finance, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and IT resources to accelerate the organization's process transformation journey.

  • Deliver compelling presentations to key Finance/Accounting Leaders on process transformation opportunities. Develop and present robust business cases, including cost/benefit analyses, risk assessments of alternative options, and clear rationales for preferred solutions.

Process Transformation

  • Independently research, analyze, and develop a range of proposed solutions to address inefficient processes identified as part of transformation initiatives.

  • Collaborate with various global functions to gain a deep understanding of end-to-end processes, manage expectations, create innovative solutions for process automation, and conduct detailed feasibility assessments of alternatives.

  • Develop detailed process maps to identify weaknesses and illustrate how efficiencies will be gained. Precisely document business requirements for project initiatives.

  • Develop comprehensive implementation plans and timelines, and establish and track process improvement objectives and related metrics.

  • Champion process transformation awareness to expand and develop the organization's overall expertise in this domain.

  • Assist continuous improvement efforts by evaluating and prioritizing identified business cases involving technical development to calculate the return on investment (ROI).

Digital Enablement

  • Serve as a primary expert and lead implementer of process improvement technologies within the Company. This includes possessing extensive knowledge of various tools, contributing to governance models, understanding IT connection points, managing licensing aspects, overseeing control mechanisms, guiding best practices for internal/external developers, conducting thorough testing & QA, managing change, and ensuring comprehensive documentation.

  • This will often involve leveraging a combination of modern technology applications, including advanced automation platforms, robotic process automation, enterprise resource planning systems, and sophisticated data visualization tools.

  • Continuously evaluate, manage, and update existing automated processes and robotic process automation solutions to leverage the most current technology.

  • Engage with technology providers to evaluate and determine the most cost-effective approaches for integrating new technologies into the IT environment as use cases evolve. 

  • Act as a key contact for third-party technology vendors, ensuring the organization remains current on all enhancements, software updates, and best practices within the technology community.

Project Management

  • Serve as a hands-on project manager for Accounting-related IT enhancements and implementation projects, driving them from inception to completion.

  • Determine and formulate detailed plans to successfully achieve project goals.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and cost/benefit analyses of identified options. Present findings and recommendations to senior management for approval when needed.

  • Utilize project management tools to develop timelines, track performance, provide status reports, and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.

  • Maintain a comprehensive issue log, actively establish solutions, and track their resolution.

  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss status, identified issues, and mitigation strategies.

Guidance & Change Management

  • Develop and deliver training to users on new processes, applying strong change management skills to ensure user acceptance and successful transformation adoption.

  • Provide technical guidance and foster the development of others with the aptitude and aspiration to join the community of process improvement developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.

What Your Bring to the Table:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience in Accounting, IT, and/or process transformation.

  • Certification: CPA.

  • Prior experience in digital finance/auditing transformation or business process optimization programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and lead the execution of technology-enabled process improvement activities that meet business requirements and adhere to IT standards.

  • Proven experience in business process optimization, including architecture, mapping, and modeling best practices.

  • Experience in taking a global perspective.

  • Conceptual understanding and practical application of automation tools, including robotic process automation, and other components within the process transformation toolkit.

  • Experience in applying standard process improvement tools and techniques.

  • Strong project management background or demonstrable examples of leading complex projects.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP).
