Salary Range: $115711 - $156715 Per Year

Job Summary: The position is in the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), Workplace Services Division. The incumbent serves as a Senior Workplace Program Coordinator, and is responsible for managing programs supporting tenants occupying GSA/OAS space nationwide. We are currently filling two positions: one in Boston, MA and one in Ft. Worth, TX, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Major Duties:

  • Provides oversight and management of physical condition of workspace assets; complies with applicable Federal laws and regulations to provide safety and healthy environment/workspace for Federal employees, contractors and the general public. Implements policies, regulations and procedures pertaining to workspace management programs requiring decision making in coordination with senior leadership. Oversees all contract activities related to workspace management programs to include workspace plans, operations, maintenance, efficiency enhancements and improvements, administrative programs, and special programs. Provides input on significant trends, recurring problems and recommended or proven solutions impacting the workspace. Establishes priorities and provides clear direction to team members on methodology and goal attainment. Determines the most economical and efficient approach to accomplishing the assigned workload. Prepares executive-level presentations and provides recommendations to senior level leadership regarding workspace management.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $115,711.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. Locality pay will be determined upon selection. GS-13 salary range for Boston, MA: $120,548.00-$156,715.00 GS-13 salary range for Ft. Worth, TX: $115,711.00-$150,426.00 To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is: Managing and overseeing workspace to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with relevant regulations/policies and laws. Overseeing contract performance for maintenance, operations and improvement initiatives pertaining to workspace. Implementing policies and procedures pertaining to workspace in collaboration with senior leadership. Setting priorities, allocating resources and leading a team in delivering performance results that optimizes cost-effectiveness. Communicating with staff and senior leadership regarding workspace management issues.
