This role is to coordinate and establish with the vendors and service providers in delivering the on-going and project-based Infrastructure services and driving the internal initiative projects. In addition, to ensure the compliance of the vendor’s service performance and align with the internal PCA’s policies and external regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure quality IT DevOps services and cloud infrastructure are delivered to operate efficiently and comply with IT policies and corporate standard.
- Manage IT support vendor and regional technology team to provide technical support, plan and implement the project / product within schedule, scope and budget
- Work with site reliability engineers to solve operational, scale, reliability problem and perform system improvement / upgrade, fixes / patches deployment to maintain system stability and meet service level agreement
- Deploy automated agile processes and scrum frameworks with squad team & platform engineer to speed up delivery of products continuously and make operations smarter
- Liaise extensively with regional technology team, IT services vendor and developer to carry out product evaluation and provide the upgrade plan to ensure the product meets IT technology standard and security policies
- Coordinate the vendors and service providers in delivering the daily on-going and project based Infrastructure services and driving quality initiative projects
- Conduct vendors meetings to review and prioritize the system changes and project implementation schedules so as to minimize the exposure of risks to business operations
- Manage the relationship between vendors and internal IT teams, and monitor the service performance for ensuring the vendor meets the defined Service Level Agreement
- Drive process improvement initiatives, enforce project disciplines, regular compliance review with the vendors to ensure the services providing meets the internal policies, external regulatory and auditing compliance
- Manage to provide reports and analysis in regular basis for Senior Management review, and recommend best practice for innovative improvement
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in insurance and/or banking and finance sectors with at least 3 years vendor management and/or project management experience
- Experience in managing the data center operations, problem and change management, process, platform, network and infrastructure projects
- Solid experience in outsourcing services and vendor management
- Solid experience in agile development, infrastructure management, cost management and vendor management
- Strong leadership skills, project management, people management, vendor management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge on scrum framework to facilitate the scrum process, remove obstacles and ensure that the team follows the Agile principles and practices.
- Experience with Cisco networks, network security and Firewall technologies
- Solid experience in LAN/WAN, networking and routing, WiFi network
- Experience in designing and operating large, Windows / Linux / Unix / AIX / VMWare / Citrix environments
- Experience in Database (MYSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, INFORMIX, Sybase), Web (Apache, Websphere, IBM HTTP), SAN storage, MS Exchange technologies
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Studies, or related disciplines
- Certification in Agile methodologies is a plus, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- IT Certification in ITIL, PMP, CCNA or related disciplines
- Skills on CICD, cloud design, mobile service, virtual machine design, networking and web infrastructure
- Skills on Cloud Services (Azure, Google), JIRA, Confluence, Windows, Unix, SQL, DB2, Sybase, O365, SharePoint, Websphere, Citrix virtualization infrastructure.
- Experience in Cloud platform, DevOps, etc
- Excellent in communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
