Title and Summary
Manager, Finance Business Partner
Overview
The Manager, FBP will work closely with NAM Open Finance (NAM OFin) leadership and NAM OFin Finance to drive positive business outcomes via enhanced analytics, reporting, business case development and story-telling. The ideal candidate will partner with executives to ensure adherence to budget targets, forecast accuracy and business growth. This role will also support broader Global Open Finance activities.
Role
Support NAM OFin focusing on budgeting/forecasting, management reporting, business case creation, strategy execution, etc.
Perform regular analysis to assist senior management in driving business outcomes and identify and track Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
Partner with NAM OFin Finance to support monthly close, forecasting, annual budget process, etc.
Support business case development to ensure proper alignment, appropriate assumptions, etc.
Develop finance infrastructure around reporting and analytics by partnering with other members of the NAM OFin Finance team to automate and simplify
Collaborate with accounting and reporting teams on financial forecasts and maintain ongoing assessment of spending risks/opportunities for portions on the business
Adhoc reporting and special projects, including billing support
Identify and support process improvements throughout the broader finance organization
All About You
Prior experience as a finance business partner or in financial planning & analysis with a focus on analytical skills, reporting, driving process improvements and adding value to the business
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience in financial analysis
Competencies and Skills:

Excellent financial, and communication skills
Comfortable with ambiguity
High degree of business acumen; ability to share an opinion and support it with facts
Able to deliver within agreed deadlines, to act with sense of urgency and prioritize tasks
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management
Advanced MS Office skills (primarily Excel and PowerPoint), working knowledge of enterprise financial systems (e.g. Oracle/Hyperion)
Experience with Alteryx or other automation tools a plus

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
