The Change Enablement chapter within Everyday People Services (EPS) focuses on enabling our people and leaders to make informed decisions using accurate, reliable insights. We support the organisation to confidently adopt behaviours and ways of working that drive excellence, including HR’s ongoing digital transformation and process optimisation initiatives.

Reporting to the Change Enablement Chapter Lead, you’ll work as part of an agile squad (or team), contributing to the successful delivery of change and engagement activities that support HR transformation.

Do work that matters
As an experienced Change Manager working in an agile squad, you’ll lead the design and delivery of change, engagement, and activation activities that enable successful adoption of HR initiatives.

Role Overview: You’re a passionate HR professional with experience working across a broad range of HR change and regulatory projects, with a strong hands-on delivery focus and well-developed stakeholder management skills. Your written communication skills are strong to draft impactful communications and support materials.

The Change Manager has day-to-day project delivery responsibility of the end-to-end engagement approach, including the design and development of the engagement and implementation plan, active involvement in the full range of implementation activities including drafting action orientated communications, developing clear well-structured support material, delivering training for impacted HR teams/employees and leaders; building influential peer relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating leader briefings and other delivery components as required to ensure business readiness and to deliver initiatives that achieve the desired people experience and drive action and adoption of new ways of working.

You will need to immerse in the detail, building a thorough understanding of the HR solution, any integrations, including across the business to inform the engagement, change and tactical support approach for a simple and easy end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of end-to-end change and engagement activities for HR initiatives
  • Build an understanding of HR solutions, including system integrations and user impacts
  • Apply Human-Centred Design principles to improve end-user experiences
  • Develop and execute change and deployment plans
  • Create clear, engaging communications and support materials
  • Assist in delivering communications and training across multiple channels
  • Facilitate or support change forums, working groups, and training sessions
  • Engage with stakeholders to support business readiness and adoption
  • Support the implementation and uptake of new HR technologies and processes

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Three to five years' experience working in a project or change environment, ideally within HR or people-related initiatives
  • Exposure to organisational or behavioural change, either leading smaller initiatives or supporting larger programs
  • A passion for improving employee experience through clear, engaging communications
  • Familiarity with Human-Centred Design or UX principles
  • Experience developing change, communication, or project plans
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive input
  • Strong written skills for developing communications and support materials
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Knowledge of change methodologies (e.g., Prosci)
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in HR, Change, Communications, or Business
