Summary of Role:

This role provides senior‑level leadership and accountability for a critical function or sub‑function, delivering strategic direction, subject matter expertise, and enterprise‑wide impact while balancing financial, operational, and people priorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide complete responsibility for all aspects of a working department or sub‑function, or professional leadership for a broad and unique subject area.
  • Develop and implement new methods of problem solving to address complex departmental and business challenges.
  • Integrate departmental work with other functions, considering cross‑functional and global impacts to deliver optimal enterprise‑level solutions.
  • Address interdisciplinary considerations when solving complex business issues.
  • Resolve issues at a strategic or principled level, delegating detailed execution to staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain full staffing responsibility, including talent planning, development, and performance management.
  • Serve as the highest authority and subject matter expert within the defined scope.
  • Balance short‑term and long‑term objectives while managing financial, resource, and people considerations.
  • Apply industry expertise and deep functional knowledge to advance organizational goals.

Other Responsibilities:

· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Accountability

  • Accountable for budget ownership and overall results for the managed area, including cost management and financial performance.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to leadership teams regarding business operations and strategic decisions.
  • Operate in alignment with functional strategy, area goals, and operational objectives.
  • Establish area objectives and develop work plans aligned with broader functional strategy.
  • Ensure procedures, processes, and standards are continuously reviewed, tested, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Relationship Focus

  • Build and sustain strong cross‑functional and cross‑regional partnerships across GlobalFoundries.
  • Coach and mentor team members to support capability development and performance excellence.
  • Guide and influence key decisions made by senior management within the function.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced functional expertise with in‑depth department and company knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply additional industry or business knowledge to complex challenges.

Expected Salary Range

$123,000.00 - $215,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
