Salary Range: $61722 - $133142 Per Year

Job Summary: This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Entry/ Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA J9(HAC)/OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICE.

Major Duties:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates programs, activities, systems, reports, and processes.
  • Plans and conducts studies to identify and initiate process changes which address/resolve procedural and systems deficiencies and analyze cost and impact to risk areas.
  • Forecasts potential problems, identifies potential risks, develops corrective and/or preventive actions, and identifies ways to avoid or mitigate risk.
  • Prepares detailed written or oral reports on findings from review and analysis of projects and programs which include narrative and/or graphs, charts, and other exhibits as required to reflect and/or explain the status of the program.
  • Develops and/or recommends new or modified work methods to improve management processes and administrative procedures used by the Agency.

Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. For this position, GG-09 qualifying experience is defined as: Applying organizational procedures, policies, sensitivity guidelines, and responding to correspondence, tasks, and data requests. To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. For this position, GG-11 qualifying experience is defined as: Extracting and analyzing data from software applications and consolidating data into written reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. For this position, GG-12 qualifying experience is defined as: Managing programs, tasks, making analytical decisions, and demonstrating problem-solving skills.
