Agoda is looking for a Global Technical Escalation Engineer / Bangkok Based

What we need: 

For our team in Bangkok, we are looking for candidates with experience in supporting and managing Desktop and IT Infrastructure.  

Support Responsibilities: 

  • Escalation point for 1st level and 2nd level teams 

  • Provide in-depth 3rd level hardware and software troubleshooting, ie BSOD (Blue Screen) and Driver issues. 

  • Escalating and working with other teams/vendors as necessary 

  • Manage devices via Enterprise systems management. 

Monitoring and Development: 

  • Monitor the health and performance of Windows systems using MS Intune logs and proactively identifying and resolving issues. 

  • Conduct regular system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime for end-users. 

  • Develop and improve current desktop monitoring system, i.e. Grafana, Telegraf, and OTEL Collector. 

  • Develop new solutions to automate tasks and maintain user devices. 

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering 

  • 5 years’ experience in supporting office, network and desktop infrastructure. 

  • Ownership, you look for solutions and do not pass on problems. 

  • Customer Service minded, all the way.  

  • The desire to keep up with the latest technologies and stay ahead of the curve. 

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Ability to work individually and as a team 

  • Ability to guide, coach and motivate 

  • QA testing and documentation experience 

  • Proficient in mass computer deployment solutions such as Autopilot, Intune, MDT, JAMF, Clonezilla 

  • Strong knowledge in Azure/Active Directory users and computers management 

  • Strong knowledge in Enterprise systems management tools such as Intune, Configuration Manager, Kace, Altiris 

  • Strong knowledge in networking technology – TCP/UDP/IP, 802.1x, Wi-Fi, DNS, etc 

  • Knowledge in various Query languages (i.e SQL, PromQL, LogQL) 

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, python, bash, etc.) 

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows/MacOS/Office in corporate environment 

Good to have:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102)
