Solenis LLC in Charleston, TN is currently accepting applications for Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technicians.

Solenis is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to keep our chemical production operations running safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with schematics and advanced tools to optimize performance. Candidates should have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical knowledge, and proven troubleshooting skills. PLC experience and familiarity with NFPA 70E are a plus. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant (chemical operations preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of safe electrical work practices, electrical tools, and testing equipment
  • Hands-on experience with circuit breakers, motors, motor starters, and control panels
  • Ability to perform basic math (fractions, decimals, minor algebra)
  • Skilled in using various measuring instruments

Preferred Skills:

  • PLC and robotics experience
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E arc flash safety standards
  • Experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (e.g., thermography)​

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work safely to prevent injury and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components in chemical production and packaging processes
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs using blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
  • Utilize PCs and software (including SAP) for maintenance tasks and documentation
  • Recommend improvements to systems, tools, or methods for reliability, safety, and efficiency
  • Provide on-call support and work rotating shifts as needed for 24-hour operations

The expected compensation range for this position is between $51,300.00 and $85,600.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
