The Opportunity:

As a Project Manager on the Integration and Optimization team within the Delivery Hub, you’ll design and lead impactful organizational change initiatives to meet business needs and improve service delivery and user experience. In this role, you will oversee the entire mergers and acquisition (M&A) lifecycle on behalf of the Delivery Hub, bridging the gap between leadership and functional teams, managing risks, communicating strategies and driving operational synergies to ensure smooth execution and integration.

As a professional in the Delivery Hub, you should have the experience and skills to ensure our operations are effective, efficient, timely, scalable, and valuable for internal and external customers. This role demands exceptional program management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and data management skills to foster cross-functional collaboration and successful integration.

This role would primarily focus on coordinating data requests related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) on behalf of the Delivery Hub such as gathering requirements from M&A discussions, engaging key stakeholders, designing integration and implementation plans, mitigating risks, and monitoring performance outcomes. This role demands exceptional program management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and data management skills to foster cross-functional collaboration and successful integration. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Delivery Hub leaders, functional team leads, subject matter experts across the Enterprise Organization, and other key stakeholders to coordinate data requests related to organizational M&As on behalf of the Delivery Hub.
  • Manage the M&A lifecycle for the Delivery Hub, including but not limited to conducting due diligence, analyzing risks, developing integration plans, managing execution, and defining and tracking key performance indicators.
  • Drive governance meetings, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment between executive stakeholders, Delivery Hub leaders, and functional teams.
  • Identify, implement and monitor effectiveness for transformative change efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of Delivery Hub team functions.
  • Develop and execute project plans to implement new strategies, optimize business processes, and drive significant improvements across the Delivery Hub.
  • Assess current state processes and design future state operations to identify improvement opportunities, introduce automation and mitigate risks or roadblocks
  • Drive exceptional stakeholder management and serve as the central contact for M&A requests from Delivery Hub stakeholders to ensure stakeholders from across the enterprise organization and business units are aligned and engaged.
  • Actively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and interdependencies among integrated functions and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and minimize risk.
  • Prepare leadership briefing materials for senior leadership that communicate project status, key milestones, and potential risks.

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience with project management, including managing all aspects of complex efforts to ensure project elements are implemented, accepted, and accomplished on time
  • Experience managing integrations or M&A activities, ideally within a shared services environment
  • Experience implementing project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Experience with change management to overcome organizational resistance and ensure successful adoption of new processes 
  • Experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive decisions and project execution
  • Knowledge of business operations and process improvement techniques 
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams throughout the transformation process 
  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances, embrace new ideas, and navigate uncertainty during the transformation process
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
