Role Overview

This role focuses on day to day engagement with Legislative Yuan (LY) offices and key third party stakeholders, supporting policy objectives through coordinated outreach, relationship maintenance, and execution focused external engagement.

What You Will Do 

This role is responsible for managing engagement with LY offices and selected third party stakeholders to support Coupang’s public policy and government relations objectives. Working closely with the public policy and government affairs teams, the role focuses on:

• Identifying, maintaining, and activating relationships with legislators, legislative staff, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and other aligned external stakeholders
• Coordinating meetings, briefings, and follow‑ups with LY offices and external partners
• Monitoring and tracking legislative and political developments relevant to Coupang’s business priorities
• Supporting external events and joint initiatives with third‑party stakeholders
• Ensuring timely internal communication and alignment related to external engagements

This role requires strong political acumen, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to execute independently and reliably. This is an individual contributor role and does not include responsibility for leading strategy or managing people.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of total experience
• Ability to solve complex problems through creative thinking and partnerships with other teams
• Ability to achieve challenging objectives through strong personal drive and prioritization

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of Taiwan’s political system, legislative process, and regulatory framework
• Prior experience engaging with legislators, legislative staff, government agencies, industry associations, or policy‑oriented stakeholders
• Experience supporting public policy, government affairs, corporate affairs, or regulatory engagement in a corporate, consulting, or public sector setting
• Strong relationship‑management skills, with the ability to engage credibly with external stakeholders and represent company positions professionally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin; working proficiency in English preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage confidential or sensitive information with discretion
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and adapting to evolving priorities
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement

 

Remuneration

Monthly salary of more than NT$ 40,000 (To be discussed)
