THE JOB:
As the Luxury F&B Training Manager for Bellagio, you’ll shape and elevate service excellence across one of the most iconic luxury resort portfolios on the Strip, known for its timeless elegance and world-class dining. In this strategic role, you’ll design, implement, and continuously refine training programs that reinforce elevated service behaviors, operational precision, and brand standards. Partnering closely with F&B senior leadership, you’ll translate business priorities into impactful learning experiences that drive consistency, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences worthy of the Bellagio name.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Design standardized curriculum for hourly and management employees across varied venue concepts, ensuring alignment with luxury service expectations and brand voice. Ensuring training content reflects evolving service expectations and operational standards.
Conduct structured training needs analyses aligned to operational strategy, guest experience insights, and service quality feedback.
Author and maintain Food & Beverage brand books and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), codifying service choreography, operational standards, and behavioral expectations.
Develop blended learning strategies including classroom facilitation, job aids, digital modules, microlearning, and experiential simulations, championing inclusive learning environments that support diverse teams and learning styles.
Align with F&B Leadership to embed anticipatory service, emotional intelligence, and moments of truth awareness into daily execution.
Own pre-opening training strategies for new venues, ensuring learning timelines align with operational critical paths.
Develop and implement structured observation and secret shopping calibration processes.
Facilitate luxury standards specific onboarding for hourly staff and managers, conducting structured check-ins during the first 120 days to reinforce learning transfer and behavioral consistency.
Lead train-the-trainer programs to equip F&B leaders with tools to model and reinforce service excellence. Coaching leaders on reinforcing service behaviors, accountability practices, and feedback delivery.
Evaluate training effectiveness through structured feedback mechanisms and performance trend analysis, identifying patterns through engagement and turnover insights to proactively adjust curriculum.
Serve as liaison to Property HR and Centers of Excellence for compliance and mandatory learning initiatives and training-related system updates and technology enhancements.
Support safety, food handling, and regulatory training alignment in partnership with operational subject matter experts.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Hospitality Training, Operations Leadership, or Instructional Design required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
