Job Summary: You will serve as the LHA Deputy Product Support Manager in the AMBPHIBIOUS WARFARE PROGRAM OFFICE, PMS 377 of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.

Major Duties:

  • You will manage development and implementation of total Ship ILS plans in accordance with Navy policy.
  • You will perform short and long range planning, establishes milestones and schedules, coordinate· and integrates taskings, and determines the most effective and efficient utilization of resources.
  • You will be responsible for providing logistics expertise and substantive planning, direction and control for Acquisition/Life Cycle Logistics Support Planning, with particular emphasis on shipbuilding for an ACAT I program.
  • You will track Ao, Am, and O and S cost metrics against LCSP performance objectives; and provide recommendation to the Product Support Manager; Manages Congressional reporting requirements tied to the LCSP
  • You will manage the LCSP as a living program document.
  • You will coordinates inputs from all 12 IPS Element, manages version control and review cycles, and ensures the LCSP reflects current program status, performance data, and strategic decisions at each milestone and program review.
  • You will develop and implement financial management plans, procedures, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of ILS Requirements.
  • You will track all sustaining engineering activities across the ship's life cycle — configuration management, obsolescence mitigation, and engineering change proposals.
  • You will track facility requirements across homeports and forward deployed locations, monitors MILCON project execution, and coordinates with installation COs and NAVFAC on facility readiness for ship class receipt
  • You will manage development and implementation of reviews and audits for all ILS resources to prepare ships for testing and trials, outfitting, delivery, commissioning, initial shakedown, and deployment are identified, acquired, and available.
  • You will track development and implementation of GFE ILS requirements in coordination with PARMS, to include identification technical documentation, On Board Repair Parts (OBRP) status, ILS checklist, among others. In coordination with PARMS.
  • You will manage the development and implementation of the configuration and Data Management programs in accordance with mandatory DOD and Navy policy and procedure regulations.
  • You will manage development, implementation/execution of system support design criteria early in acquisition/development cycle; logistics factors, from an engineering viewpoint.
  • You will ensure integration in the ship design process and steps are taken to provide logistics support to maintain ships at a high degree of readiness while in the operational inventory; reliability, maintainability, and availability programs.
  • You will interact with associated Program Office Divisions, SYSCOMs, and PAEs to interpret, and disseminate higher-level policies and directives.
  • You will coordinate and integrate separate logistics functions for efficient and timely logistics support for a major acquisition program.
  • You will ensure all program requirements have proper product support for relevant system, system-of-systems, and shipbuilding have support throughout their life cycle.
  • You will conduct final reviews of all completed work to ensure valid technical concepts and methods have been applied.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading logistics management functions (e.g., product support programs, developing or executing acquisition plans, identifying resource requirements, monitoring operations and funds distribution, etc.) in support of ship acquisition program.
