POSITION OVERVIEW

The Logistics Analyst I provides analytical and operational support for global logistics activities, including imports, exports, and domestic transportation. This role assists with data collection, reporting, and process monitoring to help ensure accurate documentation, efficient freight movement, and on-time delivery to support the corporation’s global supply chain operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collect, organize, and maintain logistics data to support reporting on freight spend, carrier performance, and transportation KPIs.
  • Monitor shipment status, track delivery performance, and escalate routine delays or discrepancies for resolution.
  • Assist with preparing standard reports, bid comparisons, and rate analyses for domestic and international carriers.
  • Support the review and accuracy of logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and Invoices.
  • Help maintain databases of suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders, including basic performance tracking.
  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying recurring issues and supporting root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams, warehouses, and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth inbound and outbound shipment flow.
  • Provide support on special projects, such as expedited shipments, trade shows, or packaging studies.
  • Assist in auditing warehouse providers and reviewing packaging requirements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

WHAT WILL HELP

  • 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
  • Knowledge of freight operations, shipping documentation, and customs processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP, TMS, or data visualization tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
