For a Loader II
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Loads Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) products into tank cars, trucks and barges for delivery to market
Ensures the safe operation of the loading equipment including supervising gauges and hose connections
Operates heavy-duty hand tools and/or small equipment and reports all safety concerns and equipment issues
Adheres to all relevant operational policies, procedures, and regulations established by governmental agencies, customers, and Williams while consistently demonstrating and encouraging safe work practices in all activities
Completes inspection reports, daily logs, and other reports as necessary; follows all applicable operating rules and procedures
Collaborates with internal logistics team and external partners
Other duties assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: High school diploma; minimum two (2) years of experience in the oil or natural gas industry
Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree
Requirements:
Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Preferred: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role
Valid Driver's License
Ability to secure a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)
Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
The ability to:
Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:
Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as the need arises
May be required to work overtime
This position is a 12-hour shift Wednesday-Tuesday (7 days on and 7 days off)
