Lecturer / Consultant (School of Design)
[What you will be working on]
• Pursue growth opportunities, identify new industry partnerships prospects, and convert leads into viable partnerships, especially in areas related to digital innovation and sustainability.
• Identify strategies to maintain strong relationships with existing industry partners to encourage repeat collaboration.
• Conduct market research and analysis to develop and implement digital communication strategies to raise awareness, enhance environmental stewardship, and contribute to social impact.
• Lead the conceptualisation of digital engagement initiatives and generate omnichannel campaign strategies.
• Track key performance indicators and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of digital strategies and initiatives.
• Develop and organise BDC initiatives, such as competitions, talks, workshops, exhibitions, and outreach.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, and student consultations, supervising interdisciplinary work and projects involving technology and design. Design and deliver quality lessons, utilising technology to promote learning.
• Engage with industry and professional bodies to stay updated on changing trends.
• Create rigorous curriculum and assess student abilities with interventions that address diverse learning needs and holistically develop student potential.
• Promote skills upgrading among working adults through professional workshops and continuing education training programs.
[What we are looking for]
• Ability to deliver and excite, both in the classroom and client management, in the realm of the digital communication design processes.
• Relevant work experience in local/global industry with a solid foundation in pertinent specialisations such as digital marketing, design, business analytics, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and implementing digital strategies, preferably with a focus on sustainability solutions.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, digital technologies, and platforms, including web analytics, social media, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and/or social media analytics platforms to track and measure performance outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal counterparts and external partners on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate in sharing knowledge as well as comfortable interacting with students, members of public and corporate clients.
• Experience in conceptualising digital engagement strategies, and developing social media content and campaigns
