The Learning and Development-COE Solution Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business outcomes by designing, delivering, and evaluating development programs that build organizational capability and prepare current and future leaders for success. This role will partner with Business People Practices and people practice leadership to identify leadership gaps, design learning solutions, and implement programs that drive performance, culture, and engagement across the organization.
Serve as a subject matter expert in leadership development, adult learning, and talent management best practices.
Assess organizational needs, conduct leadership capability analyses, and recommend targeted learning strategies.
Design, develop, and implement leadership programs, workshops, and curricula for all levels (emerging leaders, management level career track, leadership level career track and executives).
Design, develop and implement learning programs that support DPR’s goal to become the Best Builder inclusive of cultural training.
Design, develop and implement learning programs that support organizational effectiveness (training that supports software, technical or policy change, for example), often in close partnership with the PMO and People Practices initiatives.
Oversee design and development of engaging learning experiences using blended approaches (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, coaching, experiential learning).
Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business impact metrics; continuously refine content.
Align learning solutions with organizational strategy and priorities.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging leadership models, and innovative learning technologies to ensure programs remain cutting-edge. Advise on learning delivery methodologies based on learning objectives, business need and employee personas.
Coach a team of analysts/specialists, including instructional designers.
Ability to travel annually 25% within the domestic U.S.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
Work Experience
7+ years of progressive experience in adult learning design, leadership development or organizational development.
Experience with succession planning, change management, and organizational culture initiatives.
Construction industry work experience is preferred.
Proven experience designing and delivering learning and development programs for diverse employee populations.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and talent management frameworks with application within a large and dynamic organization.
Ability to leverage learning technologies, virtual platforms, and data analytics to drive impact, including learning management systems in general (Workday Learning in particular), eLearning authoring platforms in general (Articulate in particular) and familiarity with on-demand content providers like LinkedIn Learning.

Anticipated starting pay range:
