Job Description
Position Summary
The Learning and Development Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing professional development programs in alignment with the company’s roadmap. This individual will play a lead role in designing the future of our training programs and must bring the experience of content design, virtual and live facilitation, and LMS administration. This individual must demonstrate strong project management skills in order to establish and execute high-quality programs and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative and cutting-edge ways to support the organization’s professional development roadmap and enterprise learning objectives.
- Create and execute project plans to complete the initiatives according to the annual roadmap.
- Design and implement post-training reinforcement strategies that drive sustained behavior change, strengthen habit formation, and translate learning into measurable performance outcomes.
- Identify, build and implement training opportunities through different delivery mechanisms (LinkedIn Learning, ILT, virtual ILT, reference materials).
- Write, edit, and coordinate development of course catalogs, promotional materials, training manuals, reference guides, visuals/handouts, and/or training presentations, as appropriate to the program.
- Coordinate and carry out administration for internal training activities including communications, and program support. Manage databases and systems for data collection and tracking.
- Own new hire orientation and summer internship programs.
- Partner with Business and HR Business Partners in the planning and implementation/ delivery of all Professional Development programs.
- Be expert on virtual facilitation and virtual conferencing platforms.
- Collect data, analyze training needs and trends, and produce reports to monitor program effectiveness, value, content enhancements, and overall efficiencies.
- Partner with and manage external training providers as needed.
- Provide support for various strategic and special projects as needed, including performance and talent management initiatives, in office events for employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing learning programs, including eLearning and blended solutions.
- Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar).
- Experience administering or managing content within an LMS.
- Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee information.
- Occasional travel required.
Compensation
- Salary type: Exempt
- Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
- Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000
- Annual Bonus: 15%
