A Brief Overview
The Lead Integration Engineer at Safelite works on an agile technology team, and is focused on
integrating systems/application experiences for Safelite clients and consumers. They have a deep technical knowledge of the application and understand how it interacts with other applications across the organization. They play a key role in the planning and delivery of future changes to the application. The Lead Engineer usually leads at least one medium to large project at a time, keeps complex projects on-track and sustainably implemented. They leverage their own abilities and experience to mentor and improve the productivity of the entire team, and acts as an ambassador for their team with other teams.

What you will do

• Interprets specs and identifies gaps in business contexts and asks stakeholder questions to close gaps, adds technical implementation and constraint details to story, stories can be executed by others with minimal interaction
• Leads the design process that generates application functional and technical specifications; responsible for designing and developing integration solutions that enable seamless communication between different systems and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues: The Senior Integrations Engineer needs to be able to independently troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with integration solutions
• Develop, construct, test and maintain data management systems using appropriate tools to perform data ingestion, transformation, cleansing and loading
• Work with development engineers, product managers, account managers and other departments to understand the technology resolve problems
• Coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting MuleSoft based flows and integrations
• Coaches and trains Associate Integration Engineer and Integration Engineer members of team on code structure, patterns; review and approve pull requests, and provide feedback on overall code quality
• Partner with Technology Development to develop and qualify process improvements.
• Provides production support through monitoring, notification and job/service management
• Documents application design specifications and implementation procedures to improve application quality and reuse of code

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Required

Experience Qualifications

• 7-9 years relevant experience Required
• Experience in application coding and in creating computer applications and/or databases Required Required
• Experience in mulesoft anypoint api platform on designing and implementing mule apis by documenting and designing rest api's using raml. Required
• Experience with architecting and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, restful apis and service-oriented architecture Required
• Experience with software development, life-cycle and implementation methodologies  Required Required
• Must be knowledgeable and capable of leading systems engineering and technical design processes as well as able to analyze operational capability requirements and determine adequate technical solutions Required

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Management and CloudHub (High proficiency)
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve MuleSoft application issues (High proficiency)
• XML technologies like XML, XSL, XSD, XSLT, XQuery, Xpath and DTD (High proficiency)
• Experience in REST, Web services (High proficiency)
• JavaScript, JSON (Medium proficiency)
• Experience in GitLab, Opsgenie, Amazon MQ, IBM WebSphere MQ (Medium proficiency)
• Working experience in batch process Globalscape Arcus (Low proficiency)
