Job Summary
As a Test Equipment Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of advanced test equipment used for validating and characterizing our cutting-edge semiconductor products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our devices.
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible of Test equipment PM (handler) and maintain good governance of the records for audit purposes.
* Maintain and order required spare parts to maintain a good preventive maintenance and avoid breakdowns.
* Debug and troubleshoot complex test setups, including hardware, software, and measurement issues.
* Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing teams to define test requirements and ensure testability of new products.
* Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain and calibrate existing test equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
* Document test procedures, specifications, and results thoroughly.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in test technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability aspects.
* Supervise a group of technicians/ subordinate.
* Actively involved in team's 5S activity and create a good working environment.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Experience (<2 years) in test equipment (handler) development or a related engineering role within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
* Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design and analysis.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW for test automation.
* Experience with various test and measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
* Familiarity with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, National Instruments) is a plus.
* Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
