This role is responsible for supervising and participating in the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and adherence to Four Seasons’ standards of quality, safety, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver seamless events.
Duties:
Supervise banquet staff, organize work assignments, and assist with training and evaluations.
Attend Banquet Event Order meetings to ensure accurate execution of client needs.
Build rapport with guests, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns promptly.
Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments.
Uphold personal appearance, punctuality, and teamwork standards.
Ensure banquet setups meet Four Seasons’ quality standards for food, beverage, and presentation.
Oversee setup, breakdown, and cleaning of banquet spaces and equipment.
Maintain inventory and condition of linen, china, glassware, and props.
Coordinate with Banquet, Kitchen, and Catering teams for smooth operations.
Deliver exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations.
Execute service steps accurately (greeting, order-taking, serving).
Remain attentive to details and product quality.
Support other Food & Beverage areas as needed.
Assist in merchandising and suggest product/equipment improvements.
Ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
Comply with Four Seasons policies, EmPact handbook, and local legislation.
Maintain cleanliness in banquet areas and assist during emergencies.
Physical requirements: standing full shift, lifting up to 100 lbs, working indoors/outdoors, handling chemicals, and operating F&B equipment.
Be flexible with duties, schedules, and redeployment as needed.
