Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Equipment Operator at the Prince George’s County Materials Recycling Facility located in Capitol Heights, MD. This position is responsible for transporting processed solid waste from Agency facilities and maintaining the equipment necessary for these operations. The position also provides transportation support for operational personnel.Estimated Pay Range:
$55,256.40 - $75,978.12

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a GED, plus five years of experience operating heavy equipment and/or commercial driving experience.
Possession of a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with fewer than five points is required. The class of license and any required endorsements (e.g., passenger, tanker) will depend on the facility assignment.
