Job Title: Lead Coordinator, Engineering Documentation

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Coordinator for Engineering Documentation to oversee and manage all aspects of our engineering documentation lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of critical engineering documents, drawings, and data.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Change Development Process and Document Control related to Process Conditions by updating, implementing auditing and maintaining accurate documentation in Agile and on the Production Floor related to Process Engineering and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Support Process Engineering Leaders in the entire lifecycle of engineering documents, from creation and revision to approval and implementation in required areas (updating process formula books, postings at lines, etc).
  • Ensure all engineering documentation is accurately classified, indexed, and stored within the designated document management systems. (Share point, Agile, Teams files, etc)
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration between engineering, project management, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure timely document availability and compliance.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create, manage, and analyze complex datasets, generate reports, track document statuses, and develop dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary user for the Vorne system, leveraging its capabilities for [e.g., identification of leading contributors to machine downtime, waste, and shift performances,  etc.] to optimize OEE.
  • Apply strong IT skills to troubleshoot documentation system issues, ensure data security, and support the integration of various software tools.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure compliance, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes and systems, recommending and implementing new technologies or methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in document control, configuration management, data analysis, or engineering support is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and data visualization is preferred
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience with the Vorne system or Performance data system and analysis is preferred
  • Experience with document management systems (DMS), product lifecycle management (PLM) software, database management concepts, and general software troubleshooting preferred
  • Familiarity with network drives, cloud storage, and data security principles is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (EXCEL, Power Bi, SQL, etc.) preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated Leadership and Communication skills in driving resolutions to issues.
  • Lean Leader, Root Cause/Corrective Preventative Action Certification or willingness to obtain Certifications
  • Qualify to be a CAPA Champion to facilitate Root Cause and Corrective and Preventative Actions on trending Quality issues.  All documentation with in Software Systems that requires Certification.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.

Anticipated hourly range: $23.40-$33.30/hourly
