- Assist and/or perform sample and reagent preparation, DNA extraction and purification. Conduct DNA quality analysis prior to genotyping, reagent performance evaluation, and other related tasks.
- Assist in providing information on the best ways to maximize laboratory efficiency.
- Develop a variety of molecular biology techniques.
- Assist with laboratory records, filing, and maintenance of sample repositories.
- Assist in preventive laboratory maintenance and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Support general laboratory activities such as cleaning, restocking materials, and washing and sterilizing equipment.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with accuracy and efficiency, complying with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
- Meet individual and departmental goals and objectives.
