The Lab Planner (MSE) will be responsible for managing short-range product planning activities within the lab environment. This role focuses on strategizing day-to-day loading execution by collaborating closely with vertical teams and key stakeholders. The planner will also own specific areas of responsibility and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance execution efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Short-Range Planning:
- Develop and maintain short-range product loading plans for lab operations.
- Ensure alignment with overall capacity and resource availability.
Execution Strategy:
- Strategize and optimize day-to-day loading execution to meet operational targets.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans proactively to address changes or constraints.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with vertical teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
- Communicate plans, priorities, and changes effectively across teams.
Process Ownership and Improvement:
- Take ownership of specific planning processes and ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time.
Reporting and Analysis
- Provide regular updates on planning status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Analyze performance data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- Strong understanding of lab operations and product planning processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in planning tools and MS Office applications.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing lab operations.
- Familiarity with short-range planning and capacity management.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
