Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Total Rewards Lead in Korea. 
You will be part of the country Total Rewards (TR) team supporting the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) geography. The broad responsibilities of the team includes planning, designing, developing, analyzing, communication and implementing TR strategies and programs consistent with business and HR strategies. Using both internal and external data, we benchmark and model changes to various reward elements such as base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, health and welfare, and retirement programs.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Design

  • Consult with and train business leaders to develop, plan, and implement TR solutions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Apply specialized TR knowledge to design and implement programs and initiatives; align with overall comp & benefits strategy.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Manage internal/external partners, consultants, vendors, employees, and third parties in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business/function leaders. 
  • Support or project-manage benefits delivery, including vendor partnerships.

Analytics

  • Analyze and interpret internal/external data (surveys, employee, financial) to model changes to reward elements (base, STI, LTI, health & welfare, retirement).
  • Summarize findings, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to project teams.

Compliance

  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes and ensure program compliance.

Problem Solving & Judgment

  • Apply deep subject-matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues; recommend appropriate alternatives.
  • Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope; exercise independent judgment to identify and select solutions.
  • Handle most unique situations independently; seek advice when making decisions on highly complex issues.

Leadership & Project Management

  • Lead or support compensation/benefits projects of moderate complexity; facilitate information validation and team decision-making.
  • Aligning local programs with global strategy.

M&A / MADO

  • Conduct due diligence and analysis; support benefits delivery during M&A (MADO) transactions.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 4-6 years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
  • Developed knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits.
  • Strong communication skills. Excellent negotiation and partnership skills to persuade and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills such as planning, execution and implementation.
