Key responsibilities
Technical Execution
- Perform routine maintenance, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of aircraft components such as heat exchangers, air cycle machines, valves, and starters under supervision.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure components meet specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in diagnosing faults and executing repairs, gradually taking on more complex tasks as skills develop.
- Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Compliance and Documentation
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the organization and regulatory bodies such as FAA and EASA.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Identify and report non-conformances or deviations during maintenance activities.
- Team Collaboration and Development
- Work collaboratively with technicians, senior technicians, and team leads to meet production schedules and operational goals.
- Seek guidance and feedback from experienced colleagues to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Actively participate in training and development programs to advance toward the Technician role.
Operational Support
- Assist in maintaining workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and effectiveness.
- Execute tasks following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while also exercising sound judgment for non-standard scenarios requiring troubleshooting or escalation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience or exposure in an aviation-related field, with foundational technical skills in aircraft component maintenance.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and precision repair processes.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and technical documentation.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
- Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.
