QS / Billing Engineer
Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for comprehensive cost management and quantity surveying activities across the base-build project under Cushman & Wakefield’s PDS framework. The QS / Billing Engineer will manage end-to-end cost control, billing verification, and budget monitoring to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with contractual and statutory requirements. Acting on behalf of the investor, the position involves evaluating contractor bills, tracking variations, coordinating with site, planning, and procurement teams, and preparing periodic cost reports. The role focuses on maintaining financial transparency, ensuring milestone-based certifications, and driving value assurance throughout the project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
Job Description
About the Role:
- Prepare and verify detailed quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimates based on GFC drawings and site conditions.
- Review and certify contractor and vendor bills as per approved BOQ, contract clauses, and verified site progress.
- Maintain and update cost tracking sheets to monitor project expenditure against budgets and forecasts.
- Track and monitor material consumption, delivery, and reconciliation on a daily basis in coordination with site teams to ensure alignment with approved quantities and prevent overuse or wastage.
- Verify material statements, purchase records, and stock registers to support billing accuracy and financial transparency.
- Assist in rate analysis, cost comparison, and variation/extra item evaluation for client approvals.
- Prepare monthly billing summaries, cost reports, and MIS statements for management and client submission.
- Coordinate with procurement, site execution, and design teams to validate work progress and ensure accurate certification.
- Support final account closure, quantity reconciliation, and audit documentation at project completion.

- About You:
- B.E. Civil
- 5 to 10 Years & above of relevant experience
- Candidate working with Project Management Consultancy would be preferred
- Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
