As a Junior Expense Analyst, you will join our Group Expenses team at the embryonic stages of your finance career. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management in a supportive environment. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and business partners, developing your skills and gaining exposure to a wide range of finance activities.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and basic financial reports.
Support the team in gathering, checking, and inputting financial data.
Help maintain accurate records and documentation for expense processes.
Perform routine reconciliations and flag discrepancies to senior team members.
Provide administrative support for planning and forecasting cycles.
Assist with the collation of information for audits and compliance checks.
Respond to straightforward queries from colleagues and stakeholders, escalating more complex issues as needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

You will have:
A keen interest in finance and a willingness to learn.
Some experience in a finance, administration, or data entry role (desirable but not essential).
Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
Good experience proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks with guidance.
A proactive attitude and openness to feedback and development.
