As a Junior Expense Analyst, you will join our Group Expenses team at the embryonic stages of your finance career. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management in a supportive environment. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and business partners, developing your skills and gaining exposure to a wide range of finance activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and basic financial reports.

  • Support the team in gathering, checking, and inputting financial data.

  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation for expense processes.

  • Perform routine reconciliations and flag discrepancies to senior team members.

  • Provide administrative support for planning and forecasting cycles.

  • Assist with the collation of information for audits and compliance checks.

  • Respond to straightforward queries from colleagues and stakeholders, escalating more complex issues as needed.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

About You

You will have:

  • A keen interest in finance and a willingness to learn.

  • Some experience in a finance, administration, or data entry role (desirable but not essential).

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.

  • Good experience proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks with guidance.

  • A proactive attitude and openness to feedback and development.
