Job Description:

The Associate Software Engineer role with Carelon Global Solutions is an entry level role. You will focus on research, design, implementation, and management of software programs. The key expectations include writing and implementing efficient codes, identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications, testing, and evaluating new programs and providing support to production.

Job Responsibility

Develop and implement new software programs.
Design and update software database
Test and maintain software products to ensure functioning of the product and optimization.
Support, Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
Clearly and regularly communicate with management and other stakeholders.
Critical thinking and passion to learn/deliver.
Flexible to work in any shifts/Location.

Qualification

Minimum education: Qualification - B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology
All semesters should be cleared with an aggregate of 6.5 CGPA and above

Knowledge and Competencies

Thorough understanding / knowledge in any one of the programming languages
Experience / Demonstrate knowledge in software development lifecycle and software engineering concepts.
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
Strong attention to detail
0+ years of work experience in ServiceNow development
Experience with debugging and testing ServiceNow applications
Experience with Java Script, OOP, and Design Patterns
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Some working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
