We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mid Level QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have advanced English proficiency and extensive experience in manual testing for both front-end and back-end applications. Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies is a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual testing of front-end interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct back-end testing to verify data integrity, API functionality, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Advanced English level
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and ideally with automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Desire to learn about automation testing
- Experience in functional, regression and exploratory testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
- Exposure to financial or operational reporting data
- Experience supporting BI or analytics use cases
- Familiarity with data quality or testing frameworks
