The Role

Essential Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage internal audits by coordinating tenders and collaborating with auditors to ensure the appropriate and timely implementation of industry standards.

  • Implement security controls and programs to ensure compliance with the enterprise’s business goals.

  • Identify and monitor critical risk issues and the implementation of the mitigation techniques necessary for their resolution.

  • Maintain a relationship with the primary stakeholders, provide them with risk and assurance advice, and assist them in the implementation of security controls, such as internal assessments and the protection of sensitive PII data

  • Provide Advisory, consulting and operational delivery of IT Infra Compliance related client needs.

  • Building a relationship and connecting with senior statutory authorities required to ensure challenges and concerns are addressed at the highest level for quick and timely resolution.

  • Responsible for all compliance related needs of identified domain expert and SPOC for managing expectations.

  • Responding and handling various Notices from Authorities ensuring closure on the gaps

  • Analyse latest changes / modifications in compliance requirements and devise corresponding action plan.

  • Ensure timely audit of various compliance requirements.

  • Ensuring appropriate and relevant documentation of all case and compliance documents.

  • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits for each of the key clients to proactively identify risks or challenges and put a plan to mitigate them.

  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation; Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues.

  • Disseminate and bring client up-to speed with updates on policies and procedures related to compliance activities.

  • Serve as a confidential point of contact for Clients / Customers to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.

  • Consult and coordinate with internal / external attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues and address issues with appropriate resolutions.

  • Discuss emerging compliance issues with Client Representations and management for immediate and appropriate resolutions.

  • Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized personnel as appropriate or required.

  • Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.

  • Compliances, Adherences, managing teams, and completion of complex deployment projects within budget and on specific timelines.

  • Managing client expectations and client engagement.

  • Conducting and overseeing reviews or audits periodically to ensure that compliance procedures are followed

  • Conducting or directing the internal investigation of compliance issues

  • Coming up with effective plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation

  • Working cooperatively with external auditors when needed

  • Preparing appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies

  • Discussing importance of Compliance and responding to compliance issues and how they should be managed

  • Ensuring and verifying that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of overall experience in Risk, Compliance, Governance and Regulatory.

  • Proven knowledge and experience in IT Compliance

  • 4+ years of experience in adopting, maintaining, and reviewing internal controls for governance, compliance, and quality audits or risk management programs

  • Knowledge of IT processes, network infrastructure, and data architecture

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Management, Information Technology Management, or a related discipline

  • Pragmatic and goal-oriented, with highly developed organizational skills.

  • Willing to work in Shifts 24*7 on rotation basis from Client location.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL.

  • BE/ BTech/MCA/Diploma.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Working knowledge of ITIL.

  • Familiarity with information security management, governance, and compliance principles and regulations.
