Cleveland-Cliffs Steel is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist focusing on IT Service and Software Procurement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated procurement professional with experience buying, negotiating, and have an understanding of a large variety of business and manufacturing applications, software and IT services, or an experienced information technology (“IT”) professional looking to build off their past experience. This individual will partner with Cliffs' internal IT users, information security, legal, and external channel partners and service providers. The role will be on-site at our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Negotiate commercial aspects of software licenses, order forms, and service agreements
Identify cost opportunities and facilitate bidding
Identify risk with software and coordinate internal review when appropriate
Assist with tracking and elimination of duplicate licensing
Review specifications and issue purchase orders for software, licenses, support and IT services
Assist with resolving billing issues
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field
Five years of experience in the information technology field or five years of procurement experience buying business and manufacturing application software and services
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to understand technical specifications
Fundamental understanding of the legal aspects associated with software licenses and service agreements

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
