Overview:
Provide first-level support and solutions/workarounds to the business users for troubleshooting of problems on the corporate banking systems and attending to queries.
Responsible in coordinating the implementation of amendment/enhancement of the applications assigned, this includes perform unit testing, system integration test, script automation and coordinating on implementation fulfilment. Ensure amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.
Ensure all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank’s standards and able to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Functional
Implementation, support and maintenance of applications assigned.
Ensure amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.
Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank’s standards.
Ensure proper documentation of all development to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements. Employs the risk assessment methodology issued by the Information Security Department to ensure proper controls are built as required by the business.
Build appropriate controls into business application software to ensure the stability, security and reliability.
Provide expert advice for best solution to production problems.
Provide options/alternatives available to address Users Business Requirements and recommendation on software solution.
Analyze changes & impact on existing systems.
Prepare, conduct and review of system tests, to ensure accuracy and completeness to ensure problem free-implementation.
Provide support during implementation of software and systems. Liaise with other departments within division for smooth deployment of Application Software.
Off office hour support.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Education/Qualification
Degree in Computer Science & Information Technology
Experience
2 - 5 years of experience in requirement definition, design, software development and implementation.
Providing production support for business application systems.
Working experience with Corporate Internet Banking systems (web-based and mobile-apps)
Experience in working with open source (e.g: Linux, MySQL, etc) is an added advantage.
Independent with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Operating System:
Linux – RedHat,
MS Windows
Database Environment Familiarity: i) MySQL, ii) Oracle Database Server, PL/SQL, iii) DB2
Relevant Programming Language, tool and technical skillsets such as: i) Java open source framework / library - Spring Framework, Hibernate and Struts,
ii) Flutter, Github iii)
OpenShift, Jenkins, Docker iv)
Shell scripting v)
IBM HTTP, JBoss, Apache HTTP, IIS
