Job Description:
Primary Purpose of Role:
The Investor Relations Analyst plays an important role in organizing and executing investor relations activities, supporting the communication of Allison’s business strategy and financial results to the various investment communities. The Investor Relations Analyst will work closely with the [Manager/Director], Investor Relations and Executive Director of Treasury and Investor Relations in support of company management, departmental and organizational goals to develop and execute a comprehensive Investor Relations program. As part of Investor Relations team, the Investor Relations Analyst plays a vital role in facilitating effective two-way communication between management and the investment community through accurate and timely delivery of information and insight. The position has cross-functional responsibilities with coordination of efforts across multiple teams including Legal & Compliance, Financial Reporting & Accounting and Marketing, Sales & Service. The Investor Relations Analyst seeks to strengthen the department’s relationships across the organization while supporting the development and communication of messaging to the financial community and other stakeholders. This role has visibility to the company’s executive leadership team and other members of management. The position requires significant attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, intellectual curiosity, an analytical mindset, an understanding of corporate finance as well as a demonstrated ability to deliver results within a fast-paced environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
· 3-5 years of financial analysis-related work experience
